In 2003, I became afflicted with Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD), also known as Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). Prior to that, I was an air traffic controller and a competitive bodybuilder. Painting gave me something to occupy my time when these activities were no longer possible. I credit Christian faith and the gift of painting with giving me a continuing sense of joy and peace, in spite of my physical difficulties.
I would like to thank my beautiful wife Dorothy. I would also like to thank my son, Dylan; you are an inspiration. Thanks to Billie Colson and Marcy Oliver for mentoring me. Thanks to Barry Bailey for all of your hard work and friendship.
